YourVersion Wins TechCrunch50’s Coveted People’s Choice Award!

We’re excited to announce that YourVersion won the TechCrunch50 People’s Choice Award. YourVersion was selected by conference attendees from the 50 start-ups exhibiting in the DemoPit on Monday, September 14th, 2009. Each of the 1,500 attendees were given one TC50 poker chip to vote for their favorite DemoPit company and YourVersion, a real-time discovery engine that launched at the conference, took the top honor.

Our CEO & Founder, Dan Olsen, delivered the last presentation of the day on stage to a packed auditorium and TechCrunch50’s Panel of Experts: Marissa Mayer, Marc Andreessen, Roelof Botha, Paul Graham, and Tony Hsieh. See video below of Olsen giving a demo of the YourVersion product to positive feedback from Marissa Mayer, Vice President of Search Products & User Experience at Google, who commended the product saying, “I thought the attention to detail in the usability testing was really obvious.”
